Port entry
Approaching vessels must establish contact with the port and the pilotage service 24 hours in advance of the Estimated Time of Arrival (Helsinki VTS on VHF Channel 67). Pilotage is compulsory. The pilot will board the vessel at Russarö island located 9.6 km from the port.
Navigation: from Hanko 1 (59° 44' 1'' N; 23° 02' 6'' E), line 327/319.
Fairway depths: to the Western Harbour 13.0 m, to the Outer Harbour 7.2 m.

On arrival, vessels must present the crew list, passenger list and a list of loaded and unloaded goods.

Driving directions for road vehicles
Road access to the port is restricted to the Main Gate situated opposite the market square in Korsmaninkatu street. Detailed driving directions for the port area are available at the gate.
